Federal Minister of Education and Science Prof. Dr. Jasna Duraković has supported the University of Sarajevo’s candidacy for the Public Investment Program of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PIMIS), for a project with an estimated value of approximately BAM 300 million. The project, titled “Urban Regeneration of the University of Sarajevo Campus,” envisages the comprehensive improvement and development of the university campus, in accordance with the University of Sarajevo Master Plan.
The complete project documentation prepared for the candidacy includes the Master Plan for the University of Sarajevo Campus under the “Urban Regeneration of the University of Sarajevo Campus” project, a feasibility study with a cost-benefit analysis, as well as all required forms and supporting documentation. Support for this project’s candidacy represents an important step in the planning and implementation of strategic investments aimed at developing higher education infrastructure and creating a more modern and functional university space.
By submitting the project through PIMIS, it becomes eligible for further consideration under the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Public Investment Program, in accordance with the prescribed procedures and criteria. If all conditions are met and the project receives the Government’s support, the Federation could potentially cover one third of the costs.
