Dozent Alma Ferović Fazlić has become the first regionally certified vocal pedagogue of the Estill Voice Training Program

Docentica Alma Ferović Fazlić prva regionalno certificirana vokalna pedagoginja Estill Voice Training Programa

After years of training, Dozent Alma Ferović Fazlić achieved the Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) certification under the mentorship of renowned vocal pedagogue Anne Marie Speed from the UK, who is a professor at the Royal Academy of Music's Musical Theatre Department and founder of The Voice Explained in London. The EFP certification signifies excellence in demonstrating personal vocal skills and motor control over all exercises, figures, and vocal qualities encompassed within the Estill voice model in Courses Volume 1 and 2.

With this achievement, Ferović Fazlić is now the first certified vocal pedagogue and trainer of the prestigious Estill Voice Training (EVT) program in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, fulfilling the requirements to continue her education toward becoming an Estill Master Trainer (EMT). The EFP is the first and most comprehensive level of education within the Estill voice model, and educators holding this certification are active members of the global Estill Voice Training community.

As a result of her certification, the Academy of Performing Arts at UNSA will soon join the map of global drama academies where certified EVT instructors teach and actively apply this voice model in their actor training curriculum. This education was partially realized with support from the Foundation for Musical, Stage, and Visual Arts and through the artistic-research project “Brecht's Songs in Actor Musical Education,” which she leads. This initiative aims to innovate the curriculum for the Voice course in the Acting Department, supported by the Ministry for Science, Higher Education, and Youth of Sarajevo Canton.
