Department of Geography, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics a partner in the organization of the Sarajevo Tourism Festival

The Sarajevo Tourism Festival was held in Sarajevo from 23 to 25 October. A partner in the organization was the Department of Geography, UNSA Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, which organized the conference “Outdoor Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina - State and Perspectives.”
During the conference, Department teachers and associates and students presented several research and professional projects in the field of tourism. The discussion after the presentation confirmed the potential for the development of selective forms of tourism, as well as the need for significant investments in tourism infrastructure and the promotion of tourism potentials. The need to involve tourism experts in the creation of the tourist offer and the promotion of all forms of tourism was particularly emphasized. The event also presented the study program Tourism and Environmental Protection, as well as scientific and professional material and publications of the Department of Geography.
