“Climate Change and Air Pollution” Publication Promoted

The University of Sarajevo Center for Interdisciplinary Studies – “Prof. Dr. Zdravko Grebo” (CIS) hosted a promotion of the publication “Climate Change and Air Pollution”, created as part of the project “Summer School – Climate Change and Air Pollution”, implemented with the support of UNICEF.
The promotion was attended by Prof. Dr. Sabina Šerić-Haračić, Prof. Dr. Samir Đug and Amila Madžak from UNICEF BiH, who emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to the topics of climate change and youth education. The publication, which includes contributions from various experts, is designed to be accessible to a wider range of readers, not just experts.
Prof. Dr. Sabina Šerić Haračić, Head of the One Health Master’s Program, emphasized the importance of such initiatives for improving awareness of the connection between health, environment and society. Prof. Dr. Samir Đug highlighted the innovative concept of the publication and its accessibility to all, while Amila Madžak presented UNICEF's contribution to projects that connect education and current environmental challenges.
The promotion was also attended by the editors of the publication, Prof. Dr. Nihad Fejzić and Prof. Dr. Emina Hadžić. The Director of CIS, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, praised the contribution of all participants in raising awareness about the importance of climate change and air pollution for our future.
This publication represents a significant step in promoting education on global environmental challenges, offering practical recommendations and tools for further work and research.
