Chinese Embassy Delegation visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
On 10 October 2018, the UNSA Faculty of Veterinary Medicine hosted a delegation of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting was attended by H.E. Chen Bo, Ambassador, Mr. Gao Kai and Mrs. Dou Mengyue, and Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić, UNSA Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Nihad Fejzić, Dean as well as Vice-Deans: Prof. Dr. Rizah Avdić, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Smajlović and Prof. Dr. Ćazim Crnkić.
The visit was organized with the aim of expanding the cooperation between the Faculty and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in BiH, as well as strengthening the economic relations between two countries. One of topics discussed at the meeting was the cooperation between the newly opened Faculty’s Veterinary Institute and the Lanzhou Institute of Veterinary Science, which is part of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science, within of the 16+1 cooperation program.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the Faculty premises: Anatomical Museum, Laboratories and Clinics. It was pointed out that five Faculty students from this academic year are on a one-year exchange at the Veterinary Faculty, Agricultural University of Nanjing and further cooperation agreed on in the interests of students and veterinary science.
