Certificates awarded to participants in the Diploma in Islamic Sciences 2021 program.
The ceremony of awarding certificates for participants in the Diploma in Islamic Sciences 2021 program was held at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences of UNSA on 7 July. The ceremony of attending the certificate was attended by some participants of the Program and members of their families. The certificates were handed over to the participants, fifteen of them, by Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Zuhdija Hasanović, while the others, as well as the participants who will take over the certificates in the second term, followed the ceremony online via the e-platform of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
The peculiarity of this year's ceremony was that it was the first meeting of participants in the building of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences live because, unlike the previous sixteen cycles, when participants attended lectures at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, this year's program was fully realized online.
This year, 44 participants attended lectures from three continents, from 14 countries of the world, and our Bosnia and Herzegovina. Interactive lectures were given by 22 lecturers - eminent professors and associates of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences every Tuesday and Thursday. The lectures lasted from 26 January to 22 June 2021, and the participants, through eight modules, had the opportunity to expand their knowledge of Islam in a quality way about the basic concepts, values and beliefs that shaped Muslim thinking, spirituality and art, and social and legal institutions, especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Faculty of Islamic Sciences UNSA, as the successor of this unique program of lifelong learning, which is recognized in the wider academic community, plans to continue this program in the next academic year.
