Bishop Stojanov visited the Faculty of Catholic Theology, University of Sarajevo

On 4 November 2019, Roman Catholic Bishop of Skopje and the Eparchial Bishop of the Macedonian Catholic Eparchy of the Blessed Virgin Mary Assumed in Strumica-Skopje, Monsignor Dr. Kiro Stojanov, who is attending the regular 77th Session of the Episcopal Conference of BiH, met with Prof. Dr. Darko Tomašević, Faculty of Catholic Theology in Sarajevo Dean.
Along with Dean Tomašević’s welcome and Rev. Marko Stanušić’s presence at the meeting, Bishop Stojanov emphasized that his reason behind the meeting was a gesture of gratitude for the arrival and volunteer support provided by the Faculty of Catholic Theology to the Church in Macedonia on the occasion of the Apostolic Visit of Pope Francis to Skopje in May this year.
The bishop also thanked Rev. Stanušić for his contribution to the organization of the liturgical celebration and for playing under the solemn Eucharistic celebration with the Holy Father.
The interlocutors recalled the joyful event of the Apostolic Visit and the many days of students and professors in Skopje, which was a valuable experience for all. In gratitude, Bishop Stojanov presented Dean Tomašević with a gratitude plaquette to the KBF and a medallion with the image of St. Pope John XXIII and St. Mother Theresa produced on the occasion of the 29th Pope's Apostolic Journey. Rev. Stanušić also received the same gift.
