The Academy of Media Law of the UNSA Faculty of Law and the media program of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation have been completed
In the period from 25 September to 30 October 2021, the Academy of Media Law was realized at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo. The Academy is the result of a collaboration between the Faculty and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Media Program South East Europe based in Sofia (Konrad-Adenauer Foundation Media Program for Southeast Europe), which was initiated as part of preparing students for regional and global media law competition (Monroe E Price Media Law Moot Court Competition). The academy was attended by a total of 20 students. This number was limited, given the limited number of people present indoors, and due to epidemiological measures in force in the Sarajevo Canton and the Federation of BiH, and the capacity of room number 331. During six working Saturdays, a total of ten workshops were held :

The special significance of the Academy is in the diversity of students, but also lecturers, who were not only lawyers, members of the academic community, but also practitioners, and journalists and doctors of communication sciences. Also, members of the academic community came from different universities, which further strengthened the link between public universities in BiH. Ultimately, the participation of lecturers from civil society and the media has further strengthened the reputation of the Faculty in these spheres of our society. The trust that KAS's Media Program has shown to the Faculty, organized by the Academy, testifies to the reputation and credibility that the Faculty enjoys, as well as its increasing recognition in the regional context.
Having in mind the continuous participation of students of the Faculty of Law in competitions in simulating media law trials, as well as cooperation with the OSCE and KAS in organizing various forms of non-formal education on media, freedom of media and freedom of expression, the leadership of the Faculty of Law in BiH testifies. but also in the region, in this area of law.
