“70 Years of NATO Alliance - Experiences of Hungary and Montenegro” Panel Discussion Held
Faculty of Political Science - The Department of Security and Peace Studies, in cooperation with the Hungarian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized a panel discussion on November 7, 2019 entitled “70 Years of the NATO Alliance - Experiences of Hungary and Montenegro.”
The panel discussion aimed to open a professional and public debate on NATO membership by presenting Hungary's 20-year membership, as well as Montenegro's two-year NATO experience. Ambassador of Hungary to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Krisztián Pósa spoke about the twenty years of experience and political, security, economic and broader social benefits of NATO membership. Ambassador of the Republic of Montenegro, H.E. Obrad Mišo Stanišić presented the experience of the Republic of Montenegro in NATO. Mr. Denis Hadžović, Director of the Center for Security Studies in Sarajevo, also participated in the panel discussion. On behalf of the Faculty of Political Sciences its Dean Prof. Dr. Sead Turčalo addressed the attendees.
