The May Music Festival presents an online concert of the Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy!
This year's 13th May Music Festival will be attended by the UNSA Music Academy students within the subject Solfeggio. This seems a bit unusual because Solfeggio is perceived exclusively as a subject of theoretical-pedagogical orientation.
However, as it usually happens, unexpected and unpredictable life and work circumstances have stimulated an even greater desire, need, but also the obligation to act and express ourselves creatively. Although not at all easy, students and professors bravely tackled an unusual and somewhat unnatural way of realizing the teaching process. We are afraid to admit, not wanting to re-invoke a similar situation, that we approached online during the COVID-19 pandemic, and approached all the unpredictability and anxiety brought about by the embarrassing situation, with more perseverance, desire and effort, patience, mutual understanding and respect. Countless instructions, discussions, correspondence, repeated audio-video recordings, beats and phrases, aggravating working circumstances and the inability to adequately present what has been achieved, as we would be able to within the usual teaching process, did not demotivate us.
So on this occasion at the following link: https://youtu.be/oMNFdQVhiBs viewers are presented with excerpts from online classes by students: Suzana Bako, Hadis Čakić, Ivona Pejčinović, Emilija Jerković and Larisa Lejla Droce, in the classes of Doz. Dr. Nerma Hodžić-Mulabegović and Ass. Mr. Sc. Ena Plakalo.
