New issue of Genetics & Applications published
As part of the publishing activity at the Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Sarajevo, a new issue of the scientific journal Genetics & Applications has been published.
The Genetics & Applications (G&A, www.genapp.ba) is the official scientific journal of the University of Sarajevo Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (www.ingeb.unsa.ba).
G&A publishes unpublished scientific research results as original scientific papers in the following areas:
• molecular genetics
• cytogenetics
• Human, plant and animal genetics
• medical genetics
• population genetics
• conservation genetics
• Genomics and Functional Genetics
• genetic engineering
• biotechnology and
• bioinformatics
G&A also allows authors to publish their works as short press releases, review articles, or letters to the editor. To this end, G&A offers the publication of their scientific research as soon as possible following the usual editorial board procedure and quality reviews. The journal is published twice a year in both online and print format. G&A has become internationally recognized, whose works have been indexed and cited in recognized international databases such as: EBSCO, DOAJ, CAB Abstracts, Google Scholar, Global Health database and Crossref. The goal is to make the magazine as visible and recognizable as possible in other internationally recognized bases in the world in the coming period.
The G&A Journal’s editorial board is made up of well-known and renowned names in the field of genetics from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world, of recognized international credibility, in all fields of fundamental and applied genetics. The President of the Editorial Board is Prof. Dr. Rifat Hadžiselimović, University of Sarajevo professor Emeritus, Scientific Advisor to the Institute, founder and longtime Director of the Institute.
