Faculty of Pharmacy PhD Student Belma Pehlivanović Won This Year's Bloemendal Travel Award 2019 for Young Researchers
UNSA Faculty of Pharmacy PhD student, Belma Pehlivanović is one out of five recipients of this year's Bloemendal Travel Award 2019 for Young Researchers.
She participated in the 3rd European PhD and Postdoc symposium “Next-generation life scientists. Side by Side to Break New Ground ”held November 13-15 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, organized by the European Academy of Biomedical Sciences (ENABLE) together with the European Research Institutes IRB Barcelona - Spain, RIMLS - Netherlands, NNF CPR - Denmark and SEMM - Italy.
Named after the eminent scholar, Professor Hans Bloemendal (1923-2015), this award aim is to support young researchers, strengthen their scientific careers, and facilitate the participation and presentation of papers at scientific conferences in Europe through financial incentives.
Belma Pehlivanović, M.Sc. Ph. is currently an assistant professor in the fields of Pharmacology I and Pharmacology II at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sarajevo.
