10th CASEE Conference held at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences
The University of Sarajevo Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences hosted the 10th CASEE Conference. This year's CASEE Conference subject was “The Role of Life Science Universities in Redirecting Land Use from the Threat to the Guardian of the Ecosystem.” The conference was attended by representatives from 13 countries, eminent professors and experts, as well as PhD students and students.
According to Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Brka the CASEE conference, started in 2011 in Vienna (Austria), is held for the first time in Sarajevo.
The CASEE is a network of biotechnical and agricultural Faculties of Central and Southeastern Europe, which through this group mutually solve problems in the area of biotechnical and agricultural sciences, jointly report projects and prepare summer schools for students. As part of its activities, the CASEE organizes conferences that focus on current issues in these areas.
