Promotion of the Acta Illyrica journal organized by the Center for Historical Research (CeHIS)
The Center for Historical Research (CeHIS) hosted the promotion of the Acta Illyrica journal, an annual publication of the Association Bathinus, dedicated to Prof. Dr. Esad Pašalić, a longtime professor of classical history and archeology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo.
At the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo’s Small Amphitheater, the attendees were addressed by Doz. Dr. Amir Duranović, Head of the Center for Historical Research, and then the Acta Illyrica Journal was presented by and spoken about prof. Esad Pašalić by Dr. Enver Imamović, professor emeritus of the University of Sarajevo, Dr. Adnan Kaljanac, Head of the Department of Archeology and Head of the Institute of Archeology at the Faculty of Philosophy, Doz. Dr. Amra Šačić Beća, editor-in-chief of the Acta Illyrica, and Dr. Edin Veletovac on behalf of the Association Bathinus, the association for the study and promotion of the Illyrian heritage and ancient and classical civilizations.
At the end of the promotion, the attendees addressed Academician Adila Pašalić Kreso, daughter of Prof. Dr. Esad Pašalić and Dževad Juzbašić, a Prof. Pašalić’s longtime associate and friend. By organizing the promotion of this magazine, the Center for Historical Research (CeHIS) continues to fulfill its tasks and goals with a special focus on promoting and popularizing new research in historiography.
