Three Great University of Sarajevo Students Have Discovered a New Sort of Bat

Three great University of Sarajevo students Melisa Nicević, Neira Babić and Monika Šafhauzer discovered a new type of bat in the protected area of Bendbaša.
Melisa Nicević is a fourth year student at the Faculty Veterinary Medicine, Neira Babić and Monika Šafhauzer are students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Biology Department, Biochemistry and Physiology. Neira is fourth and Monika is the third year.
Sarajevo Center for Karst and Speleology and “Naše ptice” Ornithological Society gave them the “Ilhan Dervović” Annual Award for best work in the field of biodiversity and environmental research.
