TRAIN program implementation in the academic 2020/2021 begun
The implementation of the TRAIN program’s first cycle in the academic 2020/2021 has begun at the University of Sarajevo, with the implementation of the module “Fundamentals of andragogical activities in higher education.” In the introductory address, the participants were greeted by Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, University of Sarajevo.
The TRAIN program is a lifelong learning program in the field of pedagogical education and strengthening the competencies of the academic staff of the University of Sarajevo and is intended for the academic staff of the University of Sarajevo in associate/teaching positions. Participants, through an offer of nine modules, supplement knowledge and skills in areas such as teaching, methodological and entrepreneurial competencies that are extremely important for lifelong learning and training of academic staff.
Taking into account the uncertain situation related to the COVID pandemic 19, the TRAIN Program is implemented through a combined model in which part of the module is implemented online, while the other part of the module is held at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS). The implementation of the module “Didactics of Higher Education” with the use of BigBlueButton platform and technical support of the Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo.
