Expert seminar held for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, University of Sarajevo Teaching Staff

As part of the activities in the field of quality assurance at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, University of Sarajevo, on 15 and 16 June 2021, expert seminar was organized for teachers and associates of this institution.

The participants of the seminar were addressed by Prof. Dr. Zuhdija Hasanović, Dean and Prof. Dr. Nedim Begović, Vice Dean for Quality.

The first part of the seminar is designed to support the improvement of the quality of scientific research work of the Faculty staff and the approach to its evaluation. Saša Madacki, Head of the Teaching Dept. University of Sarajevo Rectorate, spoke on the topics “How to assess the quality of a journal for publishing a scientific paper?” And “Using bibliometric indicators in assessing the quality of a scientific paper and the journal in which it was published.”

The second part of the seminar is designed to support the improvement of the quality of the teaching process. A lecture on "Learning as a creative process: A parallel model of encouraging creativity" was given by Dr. Amir Pušina, full professor at the Department of Pedagogy, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. A special session was dedicated to the exchange of experiences of assistants and senior assistants regarding the application of different methods and techniques of teaching work with students.
