University of Sarajevo and “Student Center” Sarajevo: cooperation for student welfare

The delegation of the Public Institution “Student Center” Sarajevo: Mr. Muhamed Omerović, director, Denis Muhović, President of the Board and Board members: Esmir Opardija and Prof. Dr. Amel Delić visited the University of Sarajevo Rectorate where they met with Rector Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj and Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Enita Nakaš and Prof. Dr. Mirza Dautbašić.
During the meeting, possible forms of cooperation and projects that can be jointly implemented for the benefit of students at the University of Sarajevo were discussed.
Rector Škrijelj emphasized that internationalization is one of the strategic goals of the University in the coming period, and in that sense he emphasized the importance of adequate accommodation for foreign students who spend their education or part of it at the University of Sarajevo.
Representatives of the Public Institution “Student Center” Sarajevo presented the services offered by this institution, and pointed out that their mission is to provide the best living conditions during their studies for students who use accommodation.
The location of the Faculty of Health Studies was also discussed, and the participants commented on the decision approving the Draft Agreement between the University of Sarajevo, the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Sarajevo and the Public Institution “Student Center” Sarajevo on the long-term use of Pavilion VIII and Pavilion IX, within this institution, which was adopted at the continuation of the 27th session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly of 5 October 2020.
