National Library Awareness Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Meeting with partner institutions
On the occasion of marking the National Awareness Day of Libraries in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a meeting with partners was held on 5 October 2020 in the University of Sarajevo Rectorate. This activity is the result of the ERASMUS+ project "Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernizing libraries in the Western Balkans through staff development and reforming library services" whose partner was the University of Sarajevo.
The goal of the National Library Awareness Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to remind citizens of the importance of library participation in building a knowledge society. Libraries (higher education, school, public and special) will participate in the promotion of their services on 30 October, 2020, offering citizens various educational content (promotions, poetry evenings, round tables, exhibitions, etc).
Prof. Dr. Dušanka Bošković, Vice Rector for Quality, University of Sarajevo, addressed the audience at this meeting and expressed satisfaction that the University of Sarajevo was a partner in the LNSS project and the holder of this activity. The presentation on the National Day of Awareness of Libraries in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held by Mr. Sc. Nadina Grebović-Lendo, President of the LNAD Action Group (Library National Awareness Day), who gave instructions and instructions on the possibilities of marking this Day.
