Notice on the maintenance of the door on the south facade of the University of Sarajevo Rectorate/Faculty of Law

We would like to inform you that the works on the maintenance of the door on the south facade of the Rectorate/Faculty of Law building, University of Sarajevo are in progress.

Due to the complexity of the conservation-restoration procedure, the treatment of the door leaf could not be performed on the spot, but only in the workshop of a contractor specialized in the type of work in question. During that time, the entrance to the building itself was secured with a temporary wooden structure and a single-leaf door with a lock, in accordance with the approved bill of quantities.

Upon completion of restoration, conservation and repair of the authentic entrance door, it will be returned to the jamb (which has not been removed and will be restored on site), while the temporary structure at the entrance will be removed and taken to the city landfill.

The total duration of the planned works is up to 30 days.
