Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lojo new dean of the Faculty of Forestry, University of Sarajevo

At the session of the Council of the Faculty of Forestry, University of Sarajevo held on 23 July 2020, Prof. Dr. Sc. Ahmet Lojo has been elected the new dean. In two terms, the duty of dean was performed by Prof. Dr. Mirza Dautbašić.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lojo graduated from the Faculty of Forestry in 1990 as a student of the generation. Rat interrupted his postgraduate studies and in 1995, after the aggression on BiH, he began working at the Faculty of Forestry. In 2001 he received his master's degree, and in 2011 he defended his doctoral dissertation.
He was elected associate professor in 2016.
He is the author and co-author of several books, university textbooks and monographs, as well as scientific papers, professional papers and studies in the field of forestry.
Prof. Dr. Sc. Ahmet Lojo was the President of the Association of Forestry Engineers and Technicians of the FBiH in the term of office 2014-2018, and he is currently the President of the Assembly of the Association.
He takes over as dean in October.
