University of Sarajevo Delegation Visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Embassy

H.E. Hani Abdullah M. Mominah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ambassador to BiH received on Wednesday, 11 March 2020 a University of Sarajevo delegation, led by Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj. On behalf of the University of Sarajevo, the meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Tarik Zaimović, Vice-Rector for Finances, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hrasnica, Head of the UNSA Library Construction and Equipping Project Implementation Unit Technical Team, Ms. Lejla Hajro, Director of the UNSA Campus Construction and Maintenance Directorate, and Mr. Mirza Mehaković, Secretary of the UNSA Library Construction and Equipping Project Implementation Unit.
During the meeting, ongoing activities on the project to build and equip the UNSA Library funded from a Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s grant were discussed. Following the presentation of a report by University of Sarajevo representatives on the Project status, the Ambassador expressed unequivocal support to the University of Sarajevo. Rector Škrijelj thanked Ambassador Mominah for supporting the University Library project, as well as for all other projects implemented at UNSA and in BiH.
During the meeting, and on the occasion of celebrating the 70th the University of Sarajevo’s anniversary, Rector Škrijelj gave to H.E. Hani Abdullah M. Mominah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ambassador and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a gratitude plaquette for their outstanding contribution to the work and development of the University, and especially the assistance in financing, preparing and implementing the capital infrastructure project “University Library.”
