In the lectures, students and specialists had the opportunity to discuss the complexity of certain cases and the challenges of reconstructive surgery, and Prof. Dr. Ninković gave answers based in extensive clinical experience.
About his work on knowledge transfer in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Professor Ninković has only words of praise: “It is an extraordinary honor and pleasure for me to be able to transmit knowledge at the place where I have acquired the basics in medicine, since that long gone '76. . It is a wonderful feeling because there is nothing more beautiful in life than educating young people. They are like your children. They grow, move on, transmit your medical philosophy, and thus multiply knowledge. What is very important to me is that I give them the motivation to work and create” Ninković points out. He speaks of the Diaspora Development Program as contributing to professional integration and scientific integration: “A student at the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo should not feel inferior to some medical colleges in Vienna, Munich, Berlin or anywhere else. We have to start appreciating ourselves, and this program is really helping - that these young people see that we are doing it that way and that there is no big difference,” concluded Professor Ninković.
