On 11 December 2019, a meeting of representatives of COBISS.BH (Co-operative Online Bibliographic System and Services) members, who make up the Virtual Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VIBBiH), was held at the National and University Library of BiH. The gathering was attended by librarians from thirty libraries, and they were welcomed by the National and University Library of BiH Director, Dr. Ismet Ovčina.
The Head of the Virtual Library of BiH, Nevenka Hajdarović, reminded that COBISS system is constantly developing and providing new opportunities for users, pointing out that all announcements related to system upgrading are available at https://cobiss.ba.
During the meeting, many activities related to the implementation of COBISS in Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed. Thus, Dženana Tuzlak, editor of the mutual catalog, introduced the new capabilities that the system provides for search purposes, while Adisa Žero introduced the new OPAC (COBISS +). Some other novelties that have recently been implemented in the system have also been touched upon.
