University of Sarajevo Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Achieved Success at this year's Transformers Roadshow

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in collaboration with Bosna Bank International (BBI) has awarded four projects as part of the Transformers Roadshow Innovation Competition held at the Dom mladih - Skenderija on 28 September 2019. The competition was launched by the IsDB to promote ideas that will accelerate the achievement of one or more United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.
Out of over 90 submitted projects, a shortlisted jury selected 15, three of which won the best award. However, this year an exception was made, and a fourth special award was presented, which was awarded to the employees of the University of Sarajevo - the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The winning team consisted of Prof. Dr. Abdulah Gagić, Dr. Sci. Maja Varatanović and Mr. Sci. Ajla Ališah, who with the project “Microbiologically Clean Water for Humans, Animals, Environment and Food Production” received an invitation to present their idea in Senegal as a part of the UN Sustainable Development Program.
