Sport Education Against Violence and Exclusion Education - SAVE
The Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Sarajevo organized an education within the framework of the Erasmus+ Sport Project Sport Against Violence and Exclusion - SAVE in the premises of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the first day of education, on 6 May 2019, Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo gave a lecture entitled Empowering Through Sport for the Purpose of Social Change, and on the second day of May 7th, he gave a lecture on the Development of Family and Coaching Relations based on trust and reciprocity.
On the third day of lectures on 8 May Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović introduced all participants to the topic of prejudice and aspects of solving the problem of violence and exclusion. On Thursday, 9 May Nedim Čović gave a lecture on the Development of professional and social (group) relations, and on 10 May, on the subject Violence and recognition of exclusion and psychosocial characteristics in sport, Prof. Dr. Dino Mujkić.
The presence of a large number of participants is noted, among which are coaches of sports clubs and students of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Sarajevo. The number of participants is a testimony of the actuality of the offered topics, as well as the need of trainers and students to further educate themselves in this field and exchange their knowledge and experiences.
