University of Sarajevo Delegation on Fourth Rectors’ Forum and University of Montenegro Day
University of Sarajevo delegation is currently in Montenegro on two events: the Fourth South East Europe and the Western Balkans Rectors' Forum and celebrating the University of Montenegro’s 45th anniversary.
The University of Sarajevo delegation: Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Rector, Dr. Murat Ramadanović, Steering Committee Chariman, Vice-Rectors: Prof. Drs. Aleksandra Nikolić and Aida Hodžić, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Dželilović, Faculty of Philosophy Dean, Prof. Dr. Munir Drkić and Mr.Sc. Nadina Grebović Lendo.
The Fourth Rectors’ Forum involving Rectors and representatives of approximately 30 regional universities is taking place today at the University of Montenegro. At the Forum, the current issues were discussed, dealing with the higher education development, science and arts, research and transfer of knowledge, as well as the defined plan for strengthening academic integrity. Also were discussed important issues for the work and development of universities at the regional level, and Berlin Process discussed, aimed at supporting the peaceful, stable and democratic future of the Western Balkans and in advance regional cooperation and the region's Euro integration, within the region the V Conference to be organized in London at the end of May 2019.
The University of Sarajevo and the University of Montenegro have achieved successful academic cooperation for many years; intensifying cooperation between Philosophy Faculties at those two Universities was the occasion for yesterday's visit to the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Montenegro. As pointed out, the cooperation was intensified through the participation of academic staff at international conferences, writing joint scientific papers and monographs, student mobility and teaching staff, and discussed the possibilities for further development.
University of Montenegro, University of Sarajevo and University of Tuzla Rectors, Prof. Drs. Danilo Nikolić, Rifat Škrijelj and Nermina Hadžigrahić visited Podgorica Madrasah and donated thousands of books to the Madrasah’s library.
