The Confucius Institute of the Sarajevo University successfully held the 2025 Spring Festival Gala event
On January 4, 2025, the Confucius Institute at the University of Sarajevo successfully held the 2025 Spring Festival Gala. Nearly a hundred people, including Ambassador Li Fan from the Chinese Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Arma Tanović Branković the Vice President of the University of Sarajevo, Miroslav Živanovic the Co-Director and Zhang Xuezhong Director of the Confucius Institute, as well as media reporters, representatives of local Chinese enterprises, and teachers and students of the Confucius Institute, participated in the gala.
The Confucius Institute at the University of Sarajevo, in order to summarize the teaching achievements of the academic year 2024-2025, display the culture of the Chinese Spring Festival, thank the relatives and friends who support the work of the Confucius Institute, share the talent performances of teachers and students, award the annual outstanding students, and hold the 2025 Spring Festival Gala. The activities include the exhibition of teaching achievements and cultural performances by teachers and students at the Confucius Institute for the academic year 2024-2025. The Spring Festival Gala of the Confucius Institute coincided with the arrival of the first Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake after the "Spring Festival - the social practice of Chinese people in celebrating the traditional New Year" was officially included in the United Nations list of representative works of intangible cultural heritage of mankind. The activities focused on the harmony and tolerance of multiculturalism, and introduced the implication of the Chinese Year of the Snake to students and local people, that is, to inspire people's courage and wisdom in overcoming difficulties. In the exhibition of teaching achievements, students from the Confucius Institute created a series of calligraphy and painting works, including works written in Chinese characters such as "Painting Snakes for Blessing" and "Snakes Come to Operate"; In the teachers' and students' artistic performances, the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute performed wonderful Chinese songs and dances, Tai Chi fans and other programs, as well as lively and interesting Chinese festival cultural experience activities such as Chinese Spring Festival Q&A, Chinese Paper Cuttings, table tennis match with chopsticks, providing a window for local people in Bosnia and Herzegovina to understand the Chinese Spring Festival culture.
Ambassador Li Fan of the Chinese Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina fully affirmed the achievements of this event and hoped that Confucius Institute could cultivate more people to people-friendly ambassadors. Arma Tanović Branković, Vice President of the University of Sarajevo, thanked the Confucius Institute for its contributions to Sino - Bosnian cultural exchanges and hoped to further enhance educational and cultural cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and relevant Chinese universities.
萨拉热窝大学孔子学院成功举办2025春节联欢活动
2025年1月4日，萨拉热窝大学孔子学院成功举办了2025春节联欢活动，中国驻波黑大使馆李凡大使，萨拉热窝大学副校长布兰科维奇女士、孔院外方院长米罗斯拉夫、中方院长张学忠，以及媒体记者，当地中资企业代表和孔院师生等近百人参加了本次联欢活动。
萨拉热窝大学孔子学院为了总结2024至2025学年教学成果，展示中国春节文化，答谢支持孔院工作的亲朋好友，共享师生才艺表演，奖励年度优秀学员，特举办2025年春节联欢活动。活动内容包括孔院2024至2025学年教学成果展和师生文艺表演。本次孔院春节联欢活动的举办，恰逢“春节——中国人庆祝传统新年的社会实践”被正式列入联合国人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录后的第一个蛇年春节即将到来，活动内容聚焦多元文化的和谐包容，并向学生和当地民众介绍了中国蛇年蕴含的寓意，即激励人们战胜困难的勇气和智慧。在教学成果展中，孔院学生创作了系列书法绘画作品，包括用汉字书写的“画蛇添福”、“蛇来运转”等等作品；在师生文艺表演中，孔院师生表演了精彩的中国歌舞、太极扇等节目，也包括中国春节知识问答、中国剪纸、用筷子夹乒乓球比赛等生动有趣的中国节日文化体验活动，为波黑当地民众了解中国春节文化提供了很好的窗口。
中国驻波黑大使馆李凡大使对本次活动予以充分的肯定，并希望孔院能够培育更多的民间友好使者。萨拉热窝大学副校长布兰科维奇女士感谢孔院为中波文化交流所作贡献，希进一步增进萨大与中国有关高校教育文化合作。
