University of Sarajevo Representatives at the Erasmus+ Re@WBC Project Final Conference
University of Sarajevo representatives are visiting the University of Belgrade on 10 and 11 September 2018 to attend a Erasmus+ Re@WBC Project (Enhancement of HE research potential contributing to further growth of the WB region) final conference.
The conference was opened by prof. dr. Viktor Nedović, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, emphasized the importance of reform processes in the field of scientific research, and announced the establishment of the National Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, as well as a great interest in the results of the project.
The conference will present the achievements of the project, the principles of human resources management in science and research, as well as the issues of financing research based on performance indicators.
The delegation of the University of Sarajevo is headed by Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, while the delegation members are Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić, University of Sarajevo project manager, Prof. Dr. Senada Kalabušić, and other team representatives who participated in the implementation of project activities at the two BH universities.
This Conference is an opportunity to summarize the previously completed project activities aiming at improving the conditions for the development of research and professional careers and resources to support young researchers and teachers.
The Re@WBC project ends in November 2018. The project Grant Holder is the University of Niš, whereas partners are: Universities of Kragujevac, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Center for Science Promotion (Belgrade), University of Tirana, University of Vlora, University of Sarajevo, University of east sarajevo, University of Montenegro, Polytechnic University of Turin, University of Leuven and University of Coventry.
