Call for volunteering at the European Criminological Society annual conference
The UNSA Faculty of Criminology and Security Studies organizes the European Society of Criminology 2018 annual conference. The conference, as the second largest event in the field of criminology in the world, is being held in Sarajevo on 29 August – 1 September 2018 under the title:
Crimes Against Humans and Crimes Against Humanity:
Implications for Modern Criminology

The realization of this great event for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the University of Sarajevo is not possible without the help of a large number of students of our University. Therefore, we invite all interested students to join us, and contribute to the realization of the activities, which are carried out within the organization and realization of this scientific conference. This year's conference has awakened the greatest interest since the founding of the European Criminological Association. therefore we expect participation of approximately 1500 scientists, students, experts and practitioners in the field of criminology, criminalistics, criminal law, psychology, sociology, and security in general. Our guests are coming from over 70 countries around the world, and we hope that you will be part of a team that will show the exceptional potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the University of Sarajevo.
By volunteering, you help in the realization of this conference, which has significance not only for the scientific and teaching community in the field of social sciences, but also for the entire community. By volunteering you do well for yourself, because you have the opportunity to gain new experiences, both in this area and in the organizational sense. Volunteers and volunteers will be engaged in registration of participants, preparation and distribution of materials, routing of participants, technical support in salons and other activities in program activities. The period in which we need your active contribution is from 24 August to 1 September 2018.

The first meeting with volunteers is scheduled in the premises of the Faculty of Criminology and Security Studies, University of Sarajevo, street Zmaja od Bosne 8, Sarajevo (University of Sarajevo Campus) at 10:00 on Wednesday, 18 July 2018.
