BH Round table on International Exchange
On 25 May 2018, the Center for Information and Recognition of Higher Education Documents, based in Mostar, organized a Round Table/Seminar on “Coordination and International Exchange of Academic Staff, Students and Programs in Higher Education.” The seminar was attended by representatives of public and private universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as agencies and institutes from the field of BH higher education representatives. At the meeting they discussed the importance of academic and administrative mobility, the mobility programs present in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ways of promoting student, academic and administrative staff mobility, and the HEIs internal regulations related to the mentioned mobility. An example of good practice was presented by Mr. Božidar Grgić from the CMEPIUS institution in Slovenia, followed by BH university services/ international cooperation offices who presented their experience in these areas, while students presented their experiences during their stay at foreign partner universities. The Round Table conclusion is the drafting of a joint act that will be addressed to the executive in the field of higher education, in which it will recommend greater involvement in promoting and granting international mobility and creating conditions for a better and more transparent implementation of the Bologna process.
