Workshop within the project “Urban regeneration of the University of Sarajevo Campus”

On 24 and 25 January 2023, the University of Sarajevo held the last workshop within the project “Urban Regeneration of the University of Sarajevo Campus” financed by the European Investment Bank in partnership with the French Development Agency, which aims to create a new The master plan of the UNSA Campus includes part of the Regulatory Plan Quadrant C1 Marijin dvor, together with the conceptual solutions of the facilities and the feasibility study.

The workshop was opened by the rector of the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj and Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić.

At the presentation, the solutions from the basic concept of the development of the Campus were confirmed, and conceptual solutions for the planned facilities were presented.

During the two-day workshop, the proposed solutions were discussed by representatives of: the European Investment Bank, the French Development Agency, the Planning Council of the University of Sarajevo, the Sarajevo Canton Government, the Institute for Development Planning of the KS, the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, KJKP Toplane, and representatives of faculties, academies and institutes University of Sarajevo. The presentation was held by a working team consisting of representatives of the British company “Arup” and local partners Studio “Nonstop” and ESE Arhitektura.
