Successful Cooperation with the Royal Institute of Technology from Sweden
On Wednesday October 13, 2010, Prof. Dr Ejub Džaferović, Dean of the Faculty of Machine Engineering in Sarajevo, with Olga Kordas and Julia Falkerby, Associates for Scientific Research at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan - KTH) from Sweden visited the University of Sarajevo’s Rectorate. Prof. Dr Faruk Čaklovica, Rector of the University of Sarajevo hosted esteemed guests.
Dean Džaferović took the opportunity to inform Rector Čaklovica about projects that were implemented with the Royal Institute of Technology and emphasized in particular the importance of this 10 years long successful collaboration, both for the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and also for the University of Sarajevo.
After words of welcome, Rector Čaklovica presented plans and activities that have been planned for the following period at the University of Sarajevo, and invited guests to share their experiences from the area of higher education reforming with University of Sarajevo’s professors, associates and students at the Symposium on Higher Education Reform that is planned for 14 and 15 of April 2011 in Sarajevo, and the invitation was accepted with pleasure.
Since the mutual interest for deepening of cooperation has been expressed, relevant administrative procedures will be taken with the aim of signing an Agreement on Understanding in the period to follow.
