Implementation of a unique project for empowering BH youth - Coca-Cola Youth Support started in Sarajevo on 4 September 2017. The partner in this project is the University of Sarajevo. Through this program 200 participants will pass through in September, 100 in Sarajevo and 100 in Banja Luka region. In addition to gaining self-development and self-assessment skills, program participants will have the opportunity to learn about time organization, project management, communication, negotiation, time management, sales skills and business planning and financial literacy.
Participants were welcomed on behalf of Coca-Cola HBC B-H Sarajevo and welcomed by Darko Saravanja, Sales Director for Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said “Youth unemployment is among the biggest problems of our society. More than 63% of youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina are out of workforce. We are aware of the position of young people in our country, especially those who are looking for a job. In one hand, the problem is the lack of competencies that modern business requires, and in the other, the inability to acquire those competencies through the practical experience. As a socially responsible company, Coca-Cola HBC B-H Sarajevo via implementation realization of the Coca-Cola Program supports young people who have the desire and the will to work on themselves and improve their competencies. The project also provides an opportunity to stand out in an increasingly demanding labor market and find employment easier. This is what we want to contribute to the employment of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to support the resolution of one of the most important issues in our society.”
