Associates of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in China

Associates of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in China on education

Thanks to the cooperation with the Embassy of China, initiated by the International Relations Office, the University of Sarajevo is the only institution in the region to start with a specific type of veterinary medicine. The associates of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Sarajevo, Denis Čamo, Dajna Preldžić and Nedžad Hadžiomerović, are currently in Lanzhou, China, for the purpose of training in "Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine". So far, our colleuages have done half of the planned education, which was mainly theoretical and they will continue with practical work in the Laboratories of the Institute. The previous education was in the field of herbal preparations and the next planned topic is the application of veterinary acupuncture.

On 18 July they attended a meeting with members of the Institute in Lanzhou where they were acquainted with their work and achievements. Our associates had the opportunity to present the University of Sarajevo, the work of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and they also expressed desire to establish cooperation with their Institute.
