On Tuesday, 11 July 2017 the 22nd Anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the “United Nations Safe Zone” Srebrenica and the burial of identified July 1995 genocide victims will be commemorated.

In addition to numerous delegations that announced their arrival in Potocari on 11 July 2017, University of Sarajevo representatives: Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Skrijelj, Vice-Rectors: Prof. Dr. Aida Hodzic, Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolic, Prof. Dr. Zeljko Sain, Prof. Zijad Mehic, Prof. Dr. Maida Cohodar Husic and Student Vice-Rector Mirza Ibrahimovic, faculty members and students will attend the commemoration of the 22nd Srebrenica genocide anniversary.

University of Sarajevo Student Parliament’s representatives, as well as students, teachers and associates at the University of Sarajevo will pay the tribute to victims this year within “Peace March” event.
We would like to remind you that this is the “Peace March” which, including this year, in addition to commemoration and burial of victims, is one of the main activities in commemorating the 22nd Anniversary of the genocide against the Srebrenica Bosniaks.
