The UNSA Faculty of Philosophy and the Third Lyceum hosted two eminent Hawaiian professors Prof. Dr. Thomas Jackson and Doz. Dr. Stefanie Sweeney on 31 May 2017. The day before they visited Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka, and on 1 June 2017 the University of Mostar, and Teacher Training Faculty, University “Dzemal Bijedic” in Mostar.

In this way, Bosnia and Herzegovina was included on a list of more than 60 democratically developed countries in which P4C - Philosophy for Children is taught, which is distinguished guests’ specialty. The Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo and generally University of Sarajevo holds that the pioneering venture of this kind greatly contribute to the promotion of critical thinking among the children through the introduction of elective subject in primary schools, as well as the further development of pluralist Bosnian society.
