The UNSA Academy of Music and the International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM) B&H National Committee organized the 21st  ICTM Symposium Musical Instruments Study group. The symposium was held at the UNSA Academy of Music from 5 to 8 April 2017. Papers from the field of musical instruments were presented by 40 active participants from Argentina, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Croatian, Italy, Japan, China, Lithuania, Malaysia, Germany, Slovakia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Great Britain.
