On the occasion of celebrating the 45th Anniversary of the UNSA Institute of Languages in 2017 a series of activities under the title Days of the University of Sarajevo Institute of Language is planned. One of them is the conference “Alija Isakovic and Bosnian Language”. This conference is dedicated to the commemorating the 20th  Anniversary of the death of a prominent Bosnian and Bosniak cultural and national worker, writer, linguistic connoisseur - Alija Isakovic and aims to draw public attention to his exceptional importance in the struggle to understand the specifics of the Bosnian linguistic individuality within the South Slavic and European linguistic communities.
