A joint public promotion of University of Sarajevo’s research and R&D projects whose funding was approved in the Competition call of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science for the (co)financing projects in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2016 took place on Thursday 16 February 2017.

The event was attended by the UNSA Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Skrijelj, Council for Science and the Arts Chairman, academician Dejan Milosevic, Vice Rector for Research, Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Aida Hodzic, Vice Rector for Arts, Culture and Sports, Prof. Dr. Zijad Mehic, Vice Rector for Quality, Prof. Dr. Maida Cohodar Husic, project manager and assistant for science and technology, Federal Ministry of Education and Science, Mr. Jasmin Brankovic.

Pointing out UNSA projects selected for (co)financing, Rector Skrijelj referred to the investment of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science into in 2016 and expressed his gratitude to the Federal Government, especially the Federal Ministry of Education and Science for the consistent support of such projects.

Mr. Jasmin Brankovic, Assistant Federal Minister of Education and Science, expressed satisfaction with the organized journal, which includes a public presentation of supported research projects by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science in the last year's competition.

Stressing the importance of the formation of the Council for Science and the Arts at the University of Sarajevo, Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo pointed out that the priority areas of action in at the University of Sarajevo, among other things, include the visibility of the University of Sarajevo, doctoral studies, projects, and the establishment of the Development Fund of the University of Sarajevo.
