Japanese Language Course
The University of Sarajevo has the pleasure to announce that Japanese language course, taught by a native Japanese language speaker will be offered to the citizens of B&H in 2013/2014 academic year.
Duration:
30 September 2013 – 31 May 2014
1st Semester: 30 September 2013 – 15 January 2014
2nd Semester: 15 February 2014 – 31 May 2014
Schedule:
Group 1 Tuesdays, 17:00-18:30h and Thursdays, 17:00-18:30h
Group 2 Tuesdays, 18:45-20:15h and Thursdays, 18:45-20:15h
*This schedule might undergo changes in the 2nd Semester.
Total number of hours (per group):
1st semester- 45hrs;
2nd semester- 22,5hrs;

The orientation day will be held in English, while the time and place of its holding will be published at the official University of Sarajevo website (www.unsa.ba). Please note that only candidates who pass the screening might be able to take the course.
Course Description:
The course is aimed at teaching basic Japanese language speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. At the end of the course students will be able to read and write all Hiragana and Katakana as well as 161 Kanji characters, to engage in short spoken discourse on everyday topics and to use basic Japanese structures and expressions in a given context.
Conditions:
• He/she must commit oneself to take the course seriously
• He/she must have an intention to attend the classes throughout the academic year (both of the 1st and the 2nd semesters.)
• He/she must have time to attend every class and to complete homework.
This course is launched in kind cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina and with the Japan Foundation’s support.
