The Congress “Health Sciences Days” was held with international participation
As part of the celebration of the 50th UNSA Faculty of Health Studies’ anniversary, on 16 December 2023, the Congress with international participation "Days of Health Sciences" was held in the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.
After the welcoming speech of the president of the Academic Board, Prof. Dr. Zarema Obradović, the Congress was officially opened by the UNSA Faculty of Health Studies Dean, Prof. Dr. Arzija Pašalić. In her opening address, she pointed out the importance of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary work and research in health sciences. She emphasized that this is a unique opportunity to exchange scientific achievements and encourage cooperation, exchange of new ideas, strategies and approaches that will shape the future of our professions in the modern healthcare system.
At the scientific part of the Congress, 33 selected scientific works of authors from the countries of the region (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia), Portugal, Great Britain, the United States of America and the host country were presented in four sessions. Oral and poster presentations were attended by 346 participants, with listeners in a hybrid model.
Recognitions as a sign of gratitude were presented to representatives of companies that recognized the importance of support in science. We express our special gratitude to the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton and the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.
